Bird of paradise

Spring is approaching and I want sun, green trees and pollen. Bird of paradise is perhaps one of the coolest plants ever, but extremely difficult to get to bloom here in cold Norway. That's why I made this poster.

Bird of paradise or Strelitzia Reginae is originally from South Africa, but came to Europe in the 18th century. My bad source says that Bird of paradise grows in countries that have sunshine. I think maybe temperature also has something to say ...
